Marinated Mozzarella- Part 2 Gifts from the Kitchen
For almost 20 years, I’ve been teaching a class called Gifts from the Kitchen. In this class, recipes are taught that are ideal for giving as gifts to friends, neighbors, and, co-workers. Over the years, I’ve accrued hundreds of recipes that are wonderful to give and receive.
In 2022, I will not be teaching this class so I wanted to share some of my favorites that are easy to whip up! Finding recipes to gift that are savory can be a challenge. Several years ago, we made Marinated Mozzarella in my gifts class and it was such a hit, I wanted to share it with you today. This yummy recipe will not disappoint!
Marinated Mozzarella is so easy to make, a dozen could be made in a matter of a few minutes! Just collect jars that are pretty for gifting. Fill them with fresh mozzarella rounds, pearls, or chunks, next add oil, vinegar, and, aromatics. Be sure to add some fresh herbs, this makes the jars so pretty. Allow the cheese to marinate for a week to 14 days IN THE REFRIGERATOR before tying it with ribbon and more fresh herbs. Be sure your gift recipients know, this must stay refrigerated until you’re ready to enjoy!
