The Most Perfect Triple Chocolate Pecan Cookie. Ever. I realize that’s a pretty bold statement, but I’m standing by it!
Baked goods have always held a special place in my heart. There’s something about taking a handful of simple ingredients and turning them into something absolutely irresistible that never gets old. And if you know me, you know I’m always tinkering with recipes, looking for that perfect combination of flavor and texture. After a little experimenting in my kitchen, I think I’ve got something truly special!

What might be THE most perfect triple chocolate pecan cookie ever made. And yes, I say that with a wink, but one bite and you might agree!
This is not a dainty little cookie. It’s substantial, unapologetically chocolatey, and the kind of treat that makes you close your eyes for a moment after that first bite. You know the feeling?
Imagine a rich, intensely chocolate cookie, loaded with crunchy pecans, with a wonderfully bumpy, craggy top. The edges are beautifully crisp, giving way to a soft, gooey center that practically melts in your mouth. I love the contrast of textures, the crunch of pecans against all that luscious chocolate. It’s a little messy, completely decadent, and oh-so-satisfying.

With the holiday season on the horizon, the timing is perfect. These cookies are ideal to tuck into a festive gift box, added to a holiday cookie platter, or simply enjoyed warm from the oven with a glass of cold milk.
Of course, the only way to know whether this really is the most perfect triple chocolate pecan cookie ever, is to bake a batch and decide for yourself. I can’t wait to hear what you think!
Triple Chocolate Pecan Cookies
10 ounces dark chocolate, cut into pieces
¾ cup butter, room temperature
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
3 eggs, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons dark cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cups pecans, coarsely chopped
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt dark chocolate pieces in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, and allow to cool. Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars together until they are light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and the vanilla. Add melted chocolate to the butter mixture and mix well. Add dry ingredients slowly until all is incorporated, being careful not to overmix. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop dough in tablespoon-sized mounds and bake for 10-12 minutes. Cookies will be crisp on the edges.
