The Paris Dressmaker by Kristy Cambron, is a natural for my spring book recommendation. After all, being in Paris in April is a wonderful thing, even if your just reading about the city of light!
The Paris Dressmaker, is a gripping historical fiction following 2 women who are resisting the Nazi occupation of Paris during WWII This exquisite book is based on many true characters and events from this time period.
This story is presented in a beautiful tapestry and details the accounts of Lila, a former dressmaker for the House of Chanel, who is on the run after joining the French resistance. Meanwhile, Sandrine is doing her part by helping to track art stolen by the Nazi’s. A beautiful blush gown is the common thread in this captivating novel.
I hope you will read and enjoy The Paris Dressmaker as much as I did and please let me know some of your favorite titles in the comments sections. We are all looking for our next great read!
