Has the Easter Bunny Arrived at your house?
This is such a fun time of year to spruce up your seasonal decor. I have a small collection of white bunnies that trot out in the spring each year. I thought it might be fun to share a few shots of these well-loved fellows along with a few birds nests that always signal spring at my house.
Welcome to my kitchen! This sweet bunny is my favorite. He’s content to hold a basket full of chocolate Easter eggs and that butterfly on his nose does not seem to be bothering him in the least.
Assorted sizes of white cake stands form the foundation of these “bunny arrangements” and the glass cloches make them feel special.
This year I used silver plate compotes to hold assorted birds nests and tiny mushroom birds that can be found at the local craft store.
These spring-inspired birds nests are right at home in my den. Once again the glass cloche works to make the tiny nest feel special.
Those eggs look like they could hatch at any moment!
Making a simple flower arrangement in a container like this is easy. All you need to get started is a piece of foam called oasis, found in the floral section of any craft store. This soft foam is easily cut to size with a kitchen knife. Once you have the foam cut, push it into the container and fill it with water. The foam is designed to hold water keeping cut flowers fresh. Cut your flower stems off the branches and press each one firmly into the foam until you have the desired arrangement. Keep the water fresh and flowers like daisies will last for about 2 weeks!
I hope you too will welcome the Easter bunny at your house and please tell me how you’ve set your decor for spring!
