Mark and I recently dined at Gregory’s Bistro in the Croatian Village and had such a fantastic meal I wanted to share it with you.
Gregory’s is family owned and operated. Chef Gregory was born in the Bretagne region of France in the small coastal town of Auray. Gregory trained in France before coming to America to open a restaurant with his wife Lydia. They have been open for over 10 years starting first in Plano, then downtown McKinney and now in Adriatica.
Gregory’s Bistro is located on the water and has windows that wrap around the restaurant. The elegant interior is a wonderful backdrop for a night out on the town.
The ambiance is quite romantic. We had a lovely seat by the window and we watched the sunset go down over the water while we sipped a bottle of Sparkling French Wine. I happen to love brute rose’s from the Loire Valley and a bonus, the wine list is very affordable.
We enjoyed a simple dinner of Field Greens Salad with goat cheese and candied pecans.
Followed by decadent pan seared Chilean Sea Bass with Chunky Lobster Risotto served with a Tarragon Beurre Blanc Sauce. Outstanding!
For dessert? Chocolate of course! The sinful Chocolate Bread Pudding with Pecan Sauce and Whipping Cream is unforgettable.
The next time you want to have a fantastic French meal, I highly recommend Gregory’s Bistro. Be sure to call early to book a table and tell them I sent you!

We love Gregory’s, too. It’s become one of our favorite “date night” restaurants. I will have to indulge in the chocolate dessert next time. That looks amazing!
So happy to hear you guys are enjoying Gregory’s too!
