Curated Goodies You Will Adore

I love a blog post when I get to introduce you to one of my friends. I’m lucky enough to have many interesting friends and Lara, the owner of Under the Copper Roof is no exception.

Lara is a 5th generation Texan who is a self-professed maximalist. She believes more is better, that you can never have too many blue and white, or silver trays, and has deep love of chinoiserie, and chandeliers. Can I tell you, Lara is my kind of girl! She oozes creativity out of her pores and being in her presence is an inspiration.

Lara is from the Austin area and she figured out how to parle her passion for unique vintage and antique finds into a thriving business. She has a storefront, in downtown Waco, in case you are visiting this new Texas shopping mecca this summer. Most of Lara’s business comes from her online boutique and the best news of all, your goodies will come right to your door!

I found this out firsthand recently. I logged into Instagram one morning, as usual, and there it was, the most beautiful French cache pot that was practically perfect. My heart skipped a beat, and I knew I had to make it mine! I clicked and it shipped. And my beautiful cache pot arrived at my doorstep a few days later.

I had an immediate plan for this beauty. It was simply begging for an orchid (see me potting the orchid in the cache on Instagram TODAY!). I usually go for all-white orchids, because I’m a girl who adores white flowers but once at the market, the fuchsia-centered blooms seemed perfect!

What do you think? I love it and my pretty blue chest is the ideal backdrop. To see Lara’s latest’s estate sale finds, follow her on Instagram!

I hope you have enjoyed meeting my friend, Lara and that you will be inspired by her too, curated goodies, you will adore!
