Each quarter A Taste of Paris presents a French Inspired event.
In the fall, just days before Thanksgiving, I hosted Preston and Megan from Chateau Pommard. They came all the way from Burgundy, France to my home in McKinney Texas for an amazing 2-nights filled with superb wine and sumptuous bites!
With the craziness of the holiday season, I never posted the pretty pictures from this spectacular event.
As I am putting the finishing touches on the A Taste of Paris winter event, It’s Valentines Day- An Enchanting French Experience (this one is for ladies only; think Galen-tine’s) and I’ve been enjoying reminiscing about all of that amazing wine and the fun we all had.
We tasted and learned about 6 wines from the prestigious Burgundy region along with paired bites for each wine from my kitchen!
This is Apple Shallot Tarte Tatin with arugula and walnuts and let me tell you, it made the taste-buds sing!
This was my favorite bite of the night, Beef Wellington Hand-Pies!
Boards with perfectly paired cheeses, crostini and nuts, fruit and olives were served with each wine, so there was plenty of noshing!

Each guest went home with a beautiful favor, a bottle of Crémant de Bourgogne, a yummy French sparkling wine and a beautiful issue of Food and Wine Magazine!
It was a lot of work, but I had the time of my life!

You will see a gorgeous arrangement made by an expert in the field, right before your eyes. I think you will be inspired too!

French women just seem to have that special something, that je ne sais quoi. The regional director of Dior Beauty and his team, will present Savoir Faire, an interactive experience designed to unlock the mystery of the alluring French women, Christian Dior the man and this iconic brand.
