Let me show you haw to make my Stuffed Pepper Duo, the perfect appetizer recipe.
Once the goat and cream cheese are mixed well along with the seasoning, just put the filling into a zip top bag. Snip the tip of the bag and pipe the peppers full!
One down, one to go!
Pipe the halved jalapeno peppers full of the same cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, wrap with bacon and cook until bacon is brown and crispy! And now you have your Stuffed Pepper Duo complete.
Stuffed Pepper Duo
1 jar peppadew peppers
6 large jalapeno peppers, cut in half and seeded
12 strips bacon
4 ounces fresh goat cheese
8 ounces cream cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons heavy cream
2 garlics clove pressed
1 teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon fresh chives, finely chopped
In a small bowl, combine goat and cream cheese, cream, garlic and herbs and mix well. Place cheese mixture into a zip top bag or pipping bad. To prepare the peppadews, let them drain on paper towels. Snip the tip of the zip top baggie. Place the cut corner inside each pepper and squeeze the bag to fill it.
To prepare the jalapenos, preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil. Pipe the cheese mixture down the center of each pepper. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the cream cheese. Wrap each jalapeno half with a strip of bacon, secure with a toothpick if needed. Place jalapenos on the prepared baking sheet and cook for 10-13 minutes until bacon is brown and getting crispy.
