Rich Dark Chocolate Brownies

Rich Dark Chocolate Brownies
Chocolate Brownies

Valentine’s week is here, and that means one thing: it’s time to indulge in chocolate- preferably in large quantities! That’s where my Rich Dark Chocolate Brownies come into focus. Whether you are baking for your sweetheart, your family, or a group of co-workers, these decadent brownies will win you tons of love and acoldes!

I know boxed brownies are tempting, but trust me- once you taste these, you’ll never look back. This from-scratch recipe is as easy as it is indulgent, delivering the ideal balance of chewy fudge with a deep hit of chocolate flavor that makes my heart skip a beat! These are dark chocolate, but don’t worry they’re still plenty sweet, so let’s bake!

Rich Dark Chocolate Brownies

Start by melting butter and dark chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Next, add the sugar and then the eggs one at a time. Time for the extracts; along with vanilla, I like to put just 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract which accentuates the sweetness and gives a little pop of something extra. You’ll add the dark chocolate cocoa, for depth, followed by the salt and flour, don’t overmix! Then fold in the chopped pecans and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Bake the brownies for 24-28 minutes at 350 degrees, and you have a treat to share and enjoy!

Packaged Dark Chocolate Brownies

I first shared this packaging idea in a cooking class back in 2019, and couldn’t resist bringing it back here. It’s simple, charming, and makes your brownies look like a little gift- which let’s be honest, they are!
