Rosé All Day Wine Tasting Workshop
Do you love Rosé wine or are you just curious about it? Either way, you will adore this day of French food and French wine. We’ll master each dish side-by-side and wind our way through this lavish menu chocked full of fresh summer goodness. We’ll dip to the French Riveria for their beautiful wines and superb food, guaranteed to tempt the tastebuds. Our day will begin with a glass of sparkling Rosé and Traditional Bacon, Chive Pascade. Not familiar with Pascade? Think a cross between crepes and a Dutch baby and so classically French. As the day progresses we’ll taste 4 Rosé wines and vote for the best at the end of the day. We’ll snack on two varieties of tapenade, traditional Olive Tapenade, and my favorite, Sun-Dried Tomato, to be served with Socca Bread from the region. We’ll move on to the main course of succulent Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon in Classic Buere Blanc with Shrimp. I’ll cover 3-4 variations of this simple yet mouthwatering dish to keep it from getting boring! Our luxurious sides will be Grilled Summer Vegetables and the simple and sensational Potatoes Anna. For dessert, we’ll do something a little different, using classic French technique, we’ll prepare a tart using the best of Texas, pecans, and peaches. This Peach Pecan Tart is pure genius. And, Vanilia Lavender Madeleines to go home! Class size is limited.
