There’s something about Paris that encourages you to elevate the everyday, to take what is simple and make it feel intentional, and a little indulgent.
This is the third in my Little Luxuries from Paris series, and it may be the most unassuming of them all. A simple bar of soap from Fragonard.

I reach for the orange blossom every time. It’s light, softly floral, and never overpowering, just enough to feel quiet luxury woven into the start of each day. This classic French-milled bar is silky, long-lasting, and pressed with the prettiest floral design; even a bar of soap is embellished.
What was once routine now feels like a moment to savor. A hint of Paris, right there in your own home.

Of course, part of the charm begins inside the Fragonard Boutique. I never miss a visit. The shop is bright and inviting, filled with beautifully arranged treasures—from perfumes and soaps to scarves, home accents, and the kind of thoughtful gifts you didn’t know you needed until you see them. Everything feels carefully chosen, and wonderfully within reach—luxury, but approachable.
Even the packaging is part of the pleasure—so intricate and colorful and placed into a bag so lovely it feels like a keepsake in itself.

It’s a small indulgence, to be sure.
But as with so many things in Paris, it’s proof that the simplest pleasures, when done beautifully, can become the ones you cherish most.
