Springtime in Paris 2017 part 2

My heart always skips a beat at the first sight of the seine.  It doesn’t matter how many time I return to Paris… thumpty thump!  It must be the combination of the extraordinary beauty and history that gets me.

I want to share more beautiful photos of my time in Paris with my ATOP April group.

In addition to taking cooking classes at tried and true destinations, we always see the primary, secondary and even some tertiary sites. Paris has so much to offer, our days are full! We usually start at the beginning, Notre Dame on the Ile de la citi.

Here we are at La Madeleine situated in one of my favorite parts of Paris.

And of course almost wherever you are in the city, just look up to see the stunning Eiffel Tower!

We visit 4 major museums for a dose of culture…

…and a bit of fun!

Even though we take time to see sites and museums we never stray far from our true purpose…yummy goodies!

A trip for the best hot chocolate on the planet.

A visit to Eric Kayser, my favorite boulanger for you guessed it pain chocolat.

No self respecting foodie could come to Paris without scarfing a few Macarons from Laduree.

We can’t forget about chocolate.  Taking my group for a visit to my favorite Parisian chocolatiers is always a highlight for me.

No matter what we do, fun is always in the mix!

I have walked past carousels in Paris 100 times and it has never occurred to me to ride…now I won’t able to think of anything else!

We can’t forget the bubbles!  Going down into the wine cellar for champagne tasting makes a fun start to the evening!

I am truly blessed to get to spend time with such lovely human beings sharing my passion for France and food.  Merci beaucoup to my April 2017 travelers for helping me make my dreams come true!
