We are so excited at the Fangio house- Brandon is getting married!

Earlier this month, Mark and I, along with Brooke and Chris, hosted a special celebration for Mary Grace, Brandon and their attendants.

The theme- Love is in the Air– set the stage for an evening filled with warmth, joy, and plenty of hearts in shades of red, pink, and gold.

Every detail reflected the love we were celebrating from the decor to the menu.

This celebration was especially meaningful for our family because it is growing in the most wonderful way!

We are all thrilled to welcome Mary Grace into the Fangio family. She is a darling young woman and it brings us so much joy to see the love she and Brandon share.

One of the sweetest moments of the night was watching the couple feeding each other cake, just a little preview of their big day to come!

The heart-shaped cake was the showstopper, and I think we were all a little enamored by it.

Brooke and Chris were terrific hosts, welcoming everyone into their beautiful Plano home, and I had the pleasure of creating the food for the evening.

In my next installment of Le Rapport, I will be sharing a tutorial on how to create this gorgeous vegetable display ideal for any gathering and easier than it looks!

But for now, I want to show you a few ideas, perfect for any party. Food that is easy to make, adorable, and just as charming as the celebration itself.

To make this darling sandwich basket, start by lining a metal basket with plenty of colorful tissue paper. Build sub-style sandwiches, in several of your favorite varieties, and tuck them into white treat bags. Next, tie the bags with colorful string, and last add a sprig of rosemary.

Nestle the sandwiches into the basket and take it straight to the buffet!

The artistic cheeseboard was a snap to create.

I used a very long and narrow board and placed cheese in a line in the center of the board. This made it easy to drop in fruit, nuts, and olives. One of my favorite new ways to serve crackers is just to place them in stacks, throughout the board.

I hope you will join the Fangio and Perry family in wishing Mary Grace and Brandon all the best in their upcoming marriage, slated for spring.

Exciting news for A Taste of Paris, again this year, we were named #2 Paris Food Blogs, just behind David Leibowitz!!!
