In Positano the saying goes…”When life gives you lemons, make a Limoncello Spritzer.” After being captivated by the Amalfi coast, it’s beauty, warm people and outstanding food, I’ll strive to inspire you to make warm memories in your homes with these outstanding dishes from this impressive region.
We’ll kick off the fun by learning to make Homemade Limoncello and we will craft Limoncello Spritzers, ideal for sipping on for hours on end! We’ll make an updated colorful version of the caprese salad for our starter, a gorgeous array of Grilled Veg served with Buffalo Mozzarella and freshly made Focaccia Bread. Next, we will learn to make Pasta from scratch! This will be a fun lesson in handmade pasta just like Mama makes. This pasta will be the foundation for a gorgeous Pasta Bolognaise, dusted with plenty of parmesan cheese of course! To serve alongside our pasta will be Parmigiana di Melanzane a pretty stacked vegetable and mozzarella dish, baked to perfection that is outstanding on its own and is fun to make. dessert will thrill, we’ll make Lemon Ice served in frozen lemon shells, so easy and so impressive! And just because we always need a chocolate finish, we’ll make Torta Caprese for a take home treat…if you can wait! It will be an amazing day in the kitchen, join the fun!
