Pack a Gourmet Picnic for 2 at the Arboretum

Join Lorie Fangio, teaching chef and owner of A Taste of Paris™, for a Gourmet Picnic class where YOU will pack and Take a picnic for TWO! Lorie will teach the recipes in this light hands-on class; each dish will be packed in adorable containers to be taken and eaten at your own private picnic.  This promises to me a super fun way to spend a few hours! It all begins with side dishes, Vibrant Pesto Pasta Salad loaded with fresh vegetables and tangy Apple Cabbage Slaw. We will prepare the chef’s favorite, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, a picnic staple.  Beef and Blue Cheese Sliders wrapped and tied for cuteness will be a picnic showstopper served along with cute and refreshing Fruit Skewers.  We will make Mint Blackberry Lemonade and pack it in glass bottles for a thirst-quenching picnic beverage and last but not least will be adorable individual Strawberry Shortcakes packed in mason jars.
