Italian 2-Day Workshop- 1 seat OPEN!
February 20, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

February 20 & 21st
Join me for a truly unique culinary event as we travel to the Italian countryside for some of the most delectable food on earth. After spending 2 weeks cooking in Italy, I am ready to share all I learned and my favorite bites from the trip. The generous spirit of the Italians will be the theme of this amazing culinary experience.
Parmesan will rain on this class! We will cook breakfast, lunch and dinner together for 2 days as we immerse ourselves into the Old-World Italian way of doing things. We will sit together for breakfast and lunch and dinner portions will be packed to take home. Prosecco, wine and limoncello will be enjoyed with our meals and we will try our hand at making the iconic Aperol Spritz.
PASTA! We will prepare all of our pasta from scratch, so this will be a fantastic chance to learn or hone your pasta making skills. Many other skills will be learned including focaccia dough and gelato making and we will learn about the Italian covered markets. Tuition $189.00
Day 1- We’ll start our day with a Rustic Apple Crustada for breakfast to give us plenty of energy to make pasta. For a snack we will make traditional Bruschetta and a beautiful Anti Pasta Tray. Next we will move to our Ricotta and Crab Raviloi served in a browned butter concoction and along with precious Caesar Salad Bundles. For dinner we will prepare Pork Loin the Italian way, rubbed with bacon, garlic and rosemary before being wrapped in prosciutto for a glorious slice heaven. Pork will be served with Green Linguini Alfredo and Roasted Onions that are so good, you will never think about roasting garlic again! Dessert will be Panna Cotta with a rich dark Cherry Coulis.
Day 2-We will start our day with the beautiful and scrumptious Italian Breakfast Torte and Fruit Compote. The kitchen will be filled with the smell of fresh bread as we practice our baking skills with Rosemary Focaccia Bread. Lunch will be a glorious White Bean Soup, wonderful comfort food for cool days served with a crispy Asparagus and Beet Salad. Our dinner will be delectable Spicy Shrimp Tagliatelle served with a salad starter, Arugula with Fried Goat Cheese. We will make my all-time favorite treat, Pistachio Gelato and Limoncello Bars, YUMMY!
