2021 is Finally Here!

Since mid-summer we’ve all been on a countdown to get to 2021 and we are finally here.  What a year 2020 was.  Things that seemed absolutely impossible became our new realty and very fast!

As I reflect on this very strange time, I’ll resist temptation to chock it up as a disaster and a year that should be forgotten. 

Tomorrow is not a given and today is a gift.  Even though 2020 was one of the hardest years of my life for many reasons, I refuse to forget it. Instead, as I look back, I’ll frame it as a year of learning while standing still, digging deep, and the promise of beauty for ashes. 

It got me thinking about TRUTHS I aspire to live by, I’d like to share some of them with you.

Be Nice to Everyone

Forgive Everyone for Everything

Dream Big and A Lot

Food Is Love- Learn to make 1 dish really well and cook it often for people you care about.

As 2021 rolls out, join me in being grateful for this day and dreaming of what tomorrow could bring.
